There comes instances in each
life when we surrender to the circumstances with the feeling that nothing is
going to change any further and as a result we give up. Factually adverse
situations present us an opportunity to further explore and expand our
personality. But we fall prey to our own rigidity. Instead of trying again and
again, we exit the scenario. Actually situations give us a chance to check
whether our personality is in right shape or not. If we feel perturbed, means
we have not grown enough to have equilibrium of mind. It is not philosophy.
It’s a real world and we have to overcome the tendency of giving up to the
circumstances. I give you an example from life. Atmosphere in an office
sometimes is not supportive enough to be called conducive one for professional
growth. Colleagues who are less competent, get promotions and other benefits
and at the same time tease you and you become violent in thoughts, cursing
thereby your own wisdom. I tell you those crooked people are banking on your
talents and you are not aware that they are stealing your very powerful ideas
as good people have a bad habit of sharing their thoughts/ideas with people around them. The moment you
confine/control yourself from expressing those valuable and detrimental ideas,
your adversaries become impatient and you win. So always nurture the habit of
not sharing your things openly. Instead see people changing their behavior
badly.
One thing that has helped me grow
vertically I would like to share with all of you. Life has presented me with
plenty of adverse situations frequently. I have been feeling weak, beaten with
a lot of pain in my heart with no fault of mine. I tried to control the
situations which were never in my control and thus failed. Somehow I had an
intuition that let things flow its own way naturally and they are not going to
affect me anymore. Let us view situations of life as a spectator. Try not to
identify yourself with the situation. Sometimes when watching a movie, we
identify ourselves with the character and as a result, we begin to cry, laugh,
jump. Just try to meditate on your
realself. Things would be more vivid and clear when you peep into your ownself
and answers to most of questions would be reaching you invariably. Pawan Bairagi (bairagipawan1970@gmail.com)
